Responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents.
Develop and maintain the project department control register.
Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.
Ensures that all engineering documents are well checked and submitted on time prior to the document submission due date.
Ensures that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, contractors and suppliers as applicable.
Maintain the files and control logs as required by the Project Manager.
B. QA/QC Engineer
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed on or off site.
Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensure activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site in charge for inspection and testing about quality problems including the closure of non-compliance reports.
Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection request, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, through knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to civil, architectural and structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
To raise NCR and initiate corrective action if the work done is not as per specifications. Method statement or as approved shop drawing.
Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.
Participate in quality meetings to raise awareness of the company’s quality guidelines. Liaise with Project Managers/Engineers for regular site inspection activities to ensure compliance.
